Tri Training Harder

Image
Friday brought to a close, Claire and my first holiday since the event. I had to tag along since I couldn't be left alone, but it was intended as Claire's training holiday and I'm glad I was there because it inspired the shit out of me. Firstly, Tri Training Harder offers a fantastic all-inclusive bargain. Think 5-star accommodation in the beautiful Algarve with a coached, timetabled training plan. Add amazing food to that and you'll have some idea of what we got up to. I was inspired on 3 fronts, firstly, I was reading Born to Run in my Vibrams while Claire was training, and I'm sure that I will turn myself into a decent long distance runner after I can walk. Secondly, the athletes that I was surrounded by showed me that this is the perfect idea for a holiday, and I've got years left to enjoy this. For their years, they are all in great shape so I'm inspired to keep it up and train harder. Thirdly, I'm inspired to turn my attention fully toward endu

Gehbarren: rehabilitation

Sorry for the sparse, blog posts so far in April. I will try to rectify that before the month is finished. I wrote this before I left for my holidays, which I will get into in another article, but I didn't get a chance to publish it. It will also mean that the reintegration process can be managed by a third party who have lots of experience with this kind of stuff. I will likely gain some experience working for another company before I return to Eon. As well as that, I finally cracked the Gehbarren, by settling on an advantageous use

Today I'll share a recent discovery with you. Vibrams! Remember I mentioned that Claire has been reading " Born To Run ", well chia seeds aren't the only thing that we'll take away from that book. Pardon me, if I digress a little at this point. I have started reading it too, as part of my forbrain training that I'm doing for my speech. This morning I read aloud chapter one, and it's not half bad. I look forward to Claire finishing it. No pressure, but there may well be a sillytrain contest on here in the future, with running as the theme. Back to vibrams: I just think they're great, They look a bit funky, granted, but after the initial attempt to put them on, you'll be hooked, and it gets easier. I decided to follow Claire into the world of Vibrams after she explained how they made evolutionary sense, from a foot maintenance point of view. Some further digging from myself, lead me to believe that I have a rare chance, while I relearn to wal
