Annas Physio



I am very fortunate to have Annas Physio so near to my doorstep. We have incorporated tricyling into our 3 weekly sessions and it has been great so far. We haven't quite agreed on the ratio of walking:tricycling but so far we have had the weather for both and we've been attempting both, as follows: We went touring on the trike, she was on a bike, on one Friday evening when we had the weather for it. She cycled along, side by side, offering advice and training drills as well as assistance if and when I needed it. We currently have 3 sessions per week; Monday, Wednesday and Friday, when we, more often than not, get outside and walk a 400 meter cane walk, which often takes more than the allotted time. Sometimes that coincides with a Crossfit class that Claire takes in Athlevo, so Claire can and does offer encouragement as she runs past us. The exposure I get to outside cane walking has been very fruitful as I've recently made noticeable gains and, as  Dr Walther remarked to Claire, back in the Schoen Klinik, "He just needs to get on his feet".





So this can serve as a promotional advert for her recently established Praxis in Athlevo gym, because I believe she has a winning attitude, that is very suitable to patients who would like to get back to some kind of sport.



When we are not out doing the 400 meter lap (pictured above) we are inside in her office, often making use of the Sprossenwand (pictured below), or out on the Athlevo gym floor, doing some of the prescribed exercises. All I can say about Annas Physio is "long may it continue", because the gains are real and at this rate, there's no telling where it will end.
